Grandchildren - Life's RewardNo one prepared us for this. I don't think anyone can. We did not know that we would love our grandchildren as much as our own children and that we could enjoy all of the good fun but leave the arduous task of parenting to the parents. As they say, "Grandchildren are life's reward for surviving parenting." Our love for our grandchildren is boundless.
